Hot Meets Cold: Whip Up A Frozen Bananas Foster

Bananas Foster is an old-timey dessert, typically made of bananas on top of vanilla ice cream with a caramel sauce, and then alcohol is added and it's ignited. It's quite the spectacle. While loving the flavors, I do not love the amount of preparation it must take to prepare such a dessert, so I made it into this delicious shake, a Frozen Bananas Foster that is oh so delicious.
Note: This can easily be made into a "mocktail" by omitting the bourbon.

- 2 bananas
- 1 cup vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup milk
- 4 ounces bourbon
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce
- Combine the bananas, ice cream, milk, bourbon, and ice cubes in a blender and blend until smooth, about 1 minute.
- Spoon the caramel sauce around the inside rim of two or three glasses, allowing it to drip down the insides of each glass.
- Pour the mixture from the blender into the prepared glasses and enjoy.
