Experience

Rhonda joined Static Media in 2024 after launching her career as a food writer with her own byline on sites like aboutamom.com and bakedbree.com. But she has been an accomplished ghostwriter for big names in health and wellness for ten years. Her journey in food writing began with a love for reading what she calls "lyric cookbooks," like "Honey from a Weed," a book she so loved that it led her to a career in teaching composition and literature for decades. Rhonda was awarded the Honorable Order of the Golden Toque Award for her first-place contest-winning essay "In Search of My Father's Gardens."

Education

Rhonda is currently pursuing a second M.A. at the University of Denver in professional creative non-fiction writing. She holds an M.A. in English from SIU, Carbondale.
