Initially, she studied to become a doctor but quickly realized she had a passion for writing. Her career began when she was hired to become a junior editor at a medical publishing company, where she started writing about healthy foods and the science of food. Her journey led her to work with some of Asia's top food and lifestyle blogs like Our Awesome Planet and Discover MNL. She is also a public relations and communications specialist, and she uses her strategic skills to craft stories for food brands and other industries.
