Foam Fail: Yankee Stadium's Beer Printer Performs...Poorly
We recently wrote about a new beer printer that enables bartenders to print photos or messages on beer foam using malt-based ink. We thought it sounded odd, and you sounded less-than-enthused. Update: we should all continue to not be excited, just like the people printing logos and faces on beer foam at Yankee Stadium. NJ.com reports on the apparently very boring novelty from Yankee Stadium:
A somber occasion, indeed.
What's more, Major League Baseball has since been obliged to remind the Yankees that depictions of active players' faces may not be used to promote alcohol. So it looks like blurry, distorted-looking Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, Gary Sanchez and Aroldis Chapman won't be gracing the top of your Blue Point after all.
