Kate Williams is the chef of Detroit’s Lady of the House, which recently made the semi-finalist list for the James Beard Award for Best New Restaurant. We chat with her about The Motor City’s dining scene. But before we get into our discussion with Williams, hosts Richard Martin and Krista Ruane discuss the current state of female chefs in the industry and what responsibilities writers have in covering and reviewing restaurants. We end the episode with comedian Rhea Butcher‘s favorite comfort food.
