The Future: Innovative Berlin Food Hall Has Its Own Farmers Market, Ramen Burger
Markthalle Neun Berlin is an ambitious venture, with the goal of changing how Germans shop for and enjoy food. According to one of its founders, Nikolas Driessen, "What we are trying to do is establish a pattern of going shopping which is different from supermarkets and what everybody else does."
What does that mean? A weekend farmers market, a daily food hall and "Street Food Thursdays," which even has its own little hint of Brooklyn in the ramen burger.
