Red Rooster Benefit To Support The East Harlem Collapse
Join Chef Marcus Samuelsson, owner of Red Rooster Harlem and Food Republic co-founder, to support the victims of the tragic explosion and building collapse in East Harlem last week. Next Wednesday, April 2nd, Samuelsson, along with fellow chefs and friends Amanda Freitag, Aaron Sanchez and Jonathan Waxman will host an evening of food, cocktails and live auctions for hotel, restaurant and shopping packages donated from eateries and friends throughout NYC.
Featuring live, local entertainment to celebrate the Harlem community's tireless dedication to assisting their neighbors, the Harlem Helps event will work in conjunction with the American Red Cross to direct relief to those who have been affected.
"Our incredible volunteers, employees and community partners are all "Everyday Heroes" who have demonstrated a tireless dedication to help those affected by this tragedy. During this time, we've seen the community at its best, pulling together to help our neighbors in need," said a spokesperson for the fund.
All proceeds go to the American Red Cross Greater New York: East Harlem Collapse Relief fund. Click here to purchase tickets to the event or if you can't make it up, click here to make a donation to the Red Cross.
