How To Nab Free Wendy's Dave Single Cheeseburgers All Week Long
Wendy's fans are in for a treat this week. As of Monday, February 5, Wendy's is offering a promotion where customers can get a free Dave's Single cheeseburger with any purchase. The campaign lasts until February 12, and the best part is that the stipulations are minimal. To take advantage of the offer, you just have to make your order through the official Wendy's app, and there does not appear to be a minimum amount of money you must spend in order to nab a free burger. The only specified limit is that the promotion can only be used "once per order," according to the company.
For those who aren't familiar with the Wendy's menu, the Dave's Single burger includes lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, ketchup, mayonnaise, and two slices of American cheese, stacked on top of a quarter-pound beef patty in a toasted bun. This burger is bigger, cheesier, and has more beef than another Wendy's classic, the Junior Cheeseburger Deluxe, which has a smaller patty and bun and only one slice of cheese. It's suffice to say that getting a Dave's Single for free — especially since you can order something as small as a box of fries or a Wendy's Frosty Cream Cold Brew– is an excellent deal.
This Wendy's deal commemorates an iconic commercial
This year is the 40th anniversary of Wendy's iconic "Where's the Beef?" commercial, which originally aired during the 1984 Super Bowl. Wendy's is celebrating its historic ad in the week leading up to Super Bowl LVIII with the free Dave's Single deal, as well as another promotion only valid on the February 11 game day. If you order delivery through the Wendy's app, you won't be charged a delivery fee, which means you can spend less time driving to grab food and more time picking up the best beers for your Super Bowl party. With these freebie deals, Wendy's fans won't be asking "Where's the beef?" on Super Bowl Sunday.
This is not the first time Wendy's has done football fans a solid. The fast food chain has previously offered promotions such as a $12 discount for DoorDash's DashPass members, as well as a free Breakfast Baconator with a $12 purchase on orders through Grubhub, in commemoration of football game weekends. During the weekend of the Final Four match-ups this past January, Wendy's offered a promotion across three popular delivery services at once — UberEats, DoorDash, and Grubhub — where members could add a free Baconator to orders at or over $20. All these deals show that both football and burger fans should find out what Wendy's is up to when game days roll around.
