Starbucks Drinks Are BOGO For The Weekend In New Year, New Yay Deal
If the first full work week of the new year has left you feeling a little foggy, Starbucks has a potential remedy. The iconic coffee shop is offering deals on its handcrafted beverages on Thursday, as well as throughout the weekend, via its "New Year, New Yays" promo.
On Thursday, January 11, pop into Starbucks for a pick-me-up in the form of a grande-sized drink or smaller for just $3 between noon and 6 p.m. Or, get your coffee fix with a friend over the weekend (January 13 and January 14) and cash in on a buy-one-get-one-free offer, also between noon and 6 p.m.
There is one caveat, though. Even though you might be working your way through that new year haze, you'll probably need to actually make your way to a brick-and-mortar location. While you can find the deals on the Starbucks app, the promo can't be used through delivery services like DoorDash or Starbucks Delivers on Uber Eats.
Drinks you can get during the promo
If you've been looking forward to the return of Starbucks' beloved pistachio beverages, you're in luck — they're back and available during the promo. Grab a hot Pistachio Latte with its salted brown buttery topping, or if you're in the mood for something cool, sip on the Pistachio Cream Cold Brew topped with salted brown butter sprinkles. And if you want to try something new, Starbucks recently added a Hazelnut Oatmilk Shaken Espresso to its menu.
Otherwise, any handcrafted beverage from the menu qualifies for the promo, unless it contains alcohol. And if you're looking for a snack to wash down with your discounted beverage, there are plenty of classic options, but a few new ones as well. On the savory side of Starbucks' winter menu, the chain has added vegetarian Potato, Cheddar & Chive Bakes, which combine cage-free eggs, spinach, diced potatoes, and cheddar cheese. And if you're looking to satisfy your sweet tooth, you can pick up a Vanilla Bean Custard Danish, made with sugared croissant dough and filled with creamy custard. After all, it's hard slipping into the first full week of the year — nothing like a sweet treat to help fuel that resolution spirit.
