Eggo And Sugarlands Distilling Co. Debut Brunch-Inspired Liqueur
Brunch just got even more exciting, and grown up, with Eggo Brunch in a Jar Sippin' Cream. This new delicious liqueur is a collaboration from Kellogg (Eggo's parent company) and Sugarlands Distilling Co. that comes just in time to celebrate National Waffle Day August 24. The creamy alcoholic beverage is infused with the familiar flavors of a breakfast platter with notes of toasted Eggo waffles, fresh maple syrup, creamy butter, and smoky bacon, according to a press release.
It can be enjoyed with a serving of waffles or any other brunch food you like to eat — or drink. While it can be enjoyed all on its own, Eggo Brunch in a Jar Sippin' Cream is ideal for pairing with coffee or other cocktails, too. You can also enjoy it with any breakfast for dinner meal.
Eggo Brunch in a Jar Sippin' Cream comes in a 750 ml bottle and contains 20% ABV. It's available in a few select stores nationwide for a suggested retail price of $24.99; you can check to see if any retailers near you carry the product by doing a search on the Sugarlands' website.
The Sippin' Cream can make breakfast cocktails, too
To celebrate the launch of this new "brunch in a jar," Sugarlands Distilling Co. has rolled out a series of tasty recipes that let you create unique breakfast cocktails that could fit in just as well as a mimosa or Bloody Mary (except now your garnishments can include mini-waffles with bacon strips). There's the Maple Milkshake that pairs the new liqueur with Sugarlands' maple bourbon moonshine, plus Fernet, and vanilla syrup. Or, the Eggospresso Martini that pairs the sipping cream with vodka, coffee syrup, and espresso, among other drink ideas.
The Eggo Brunch in a Jar Sippin' Cream marks the second time that Kellogg and Sugarland Distilling Co. have teamed up. The two companies also launched Eggo Nog Appalachian Sippin' Cream back in October 2022 as a holiday drink, which contains festive notes of rum, cinnamon, cream, and nutmeg. However, unlike Eggo Nog, the new Brunch in a Jar liqueur appears to be available year-round.
