Starbucks Introduces 3 Twists On Classic Drinks For Its Summer Menu Remix

Starbucks is mixing things up for the last days of summer with three new twists on classic cold drinks, available now. The coffee chain's Summer Menu Remix offers limited-time versions of menu favorites, including the Chocolate Cream Cold Brew, Iced Chai Latte, and Iced Black Tea Lemonade, made with new preparations. These special sips can be ordered on the Starbucks app or in locations nationwide.

First up is the Chocolate Cream Cold Brew with Caramel Syrup in a Caramel Lined Cup that makes the popular drink even sweeter. This version of cold brew is still flavored with a few pumps of vanilla syrup and topped with a chocolatey creamy foam, but now the entire cup is swirled with caramel syrup allowing for more flavor in each sip. 

The Iced Chai Latte with Matcha Cream Cold Foam seamlessly blends two of Starbucks' popular tea lattes (and is also quite colorful) as the traditional iced chai now comes topped with a dollop of green matcha foam for a bit of spice and sweetness.

Finally, the third drink on this year's Summer Menu Remix is a frosty version of the classic Arnold Palmer drink. The Blended Iced Black Tea Lemonade features sweetened black tea and lemonade blended with ice to create a refreshing, caffeinated slushie. 

This is the second time Starbucks has "remixed" its summer drink menu, which really just makes a range of popular customer drink hacks official on the chain's menu. In 2022, the remix menu offered the Pink Drink topped with vanilla sweet cream cold foam, plus a Salted Caramel Cream Cold Brew in a caramel-lined cup, and like this year, a Black Tea Lemonade blended with ice for a frozen treat.

The good news is that, even though these drinks are touted as limited-time offers on the official menu, you can order these customized drinks all year long — or even try something new and come up with your own remixed drink. Starbucks offers a multitude of options where you can play around with the number of espresso shots, flavor syrups and sauces, powders, foams, lemonade and matcha options, and whipped cream, not to mention hot and cold preparations.

To customize any beverage of your choice, you can do so by placing your order in-person at any location, or use the Starbucks app. Just select your favorite drink, click the "customize" button, and scroll through the different options to make it unique. If you're not a Starbucks Rewards member, you can create an account online at the official Starbucks website or download the Starbucks app on your phone and follow the prompts. Rewards members can earn and redeem "stars" for free drinks and food all year long, too.
