The Cheesecake Factory's New Cookie Dough Cheesecake Packs A Nutty Twist

When it comes to the Cheesecake Factory, there's no such thing as too many options. Its notoriously large menu reads like a book and boasts 250-plus dishes, with more than 30 of those being flavors of cheesecake. So, adding one more to the mix is just another day at the office. In celebration of National Cheesecake Day on July 30, the popular restaurant will debut the brand-new Cookie Dough Lover's Cheesecake with Pecans. It joins the long list of other options like Chocolate Caramelicious Cheesecake with Snickers and White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle.

The base of the new dessert option is the chain's original cheesecake flavor with chocolate chip pecan cookie dough scattered throughout. It's topped off with cookie dough frosting, chocolate drizzle, chocolate chips, and the eatery's signature dollops of whipped cream. 

Even sweeter is the fact that, for the next year (through July 29, 2024), the Cheesecake Factory will donate 25 cents to Feeding America for every slice of the new flavor sold, continuing what has become an annual practice for the company to celebrate National Cheesecake Day. (Last year, the chain debuted its Classic Basque Cheesecake flavor.) Cheesecake Factory has donated more than $6 million to Feeding America since 2008 just by selling these special cheesecake flavors, helping the charitable organization's mission to fight hunger in America by establishing food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and other resources in cities across the country.

As an added incentive to try the new flavor and celebrate National Cheesecake Day, the restaurant chain is encouraging diners to sign up for its new rewards program, called Cheesecake Rewards, by July 30. Doing so ensures you can enjoy a half-price slice of any cheesecake, including the new Cookie Dough Lover's Cheesecake with Pecans, when dining in on either July 31 or August 1. In addition, rewards members will receive access to reservations, special gifts, and points for every meal, which can add up to more free cheesecake (including a free festive slice on your birthday). There is no word on whether the new Cookie Dough Lover's Cheesecake with Pecans flavor will become a permanent fixture on the dessert menu, but last year's Basque Cheesecake still seems to be part of the restaurant's options, as of publication.
