Ina Garten's Genius Parchment Paper Hack For Round Pans
Lining a round pan with a square piece of parchment paper can be frustrating, but luckily, Ina Garten has a brilliant technique that makes the whole process a breeze.
In her show "Barefoot Contessa," Garten suggests folding a square piece of parchment paper in half lengthwise before folding it in half crosswise to get a smaller square shape.
Then, fold it diagonally to make a triangle shape before folding it in half again for a narrower, elongated triangular shape, and place the pointed tip in the middle of your pan.
You can also flip the pan upside down to line up the pointed tip in its center. Finally, cut off the excess paper hanging over the edge and unfold it for a perfect parchment round.
