Bon Appétit Announces America's 10 Best New Restaurants

Bon Appétit has announced its annual "Hot 10" list of the country's best new restaurants. As part of the publication's September restaurant issue — dedicated to everything new, trendsetting and innovative in the culinary world — deputy editor Andrew Knowlton and senior editor Julia Kramer dined at hundreds of spots across the country to narrow down the selections. We've been to several of these spots as well (editor Richard Martin even Instagrammed a photo of Kindred's insanely delicious milk bread last week), and we'd have to say that this list looks legit. Here are the final selections from the magazine, which is on newsstands now, in order:

  • AL's Place – San Francisco, CA
  • Gjusta – Venice, CA
  • Petit Trois – Los Angeles, CA
  • Semilla – Brooklyn, NY
  • Parachute – Chicago, IL
  • Dai Due – Austin, TX
  • Kindred – Davidson, NC
  • Rintaro – San Francisco, CA
  • Manolin – Seattle, WA
  • Milktooth – Indianapolis, IN
