Better Bar Food: Cheezy Bits Recipe
By now you probably want to make a batch of Cheezy Bits, which are basically homemade Cheez-Its from Remedy Wine Bar in Portland, OR. These addictive little crackers made from pie crust are infused with cheddar, then coated with blue cheese powder (a secret weapon from Rogue Creamery you should absolutely hoard — 25 pounds is only $640, or a shaker goes for $19). Whether it's a smoky single-malt, a super-hopped IPA or a fine glass of Pinot Grigio you're enjoying, a salty cheese-spiked snack is a perfect companion. Come to think of it, we might up our mac 'n cheese game while we're at it.
