Lineup For 13th Annual Pigs & Pinot Weekend Announced

While the East Coast continues to freeze over, promise for warmer weather and wine is on the horizon. Chef Charlie Palmer has just announced the lineup for the 13th annual Pigs & Pinot Chef & Winemaker weekend events in Healdsburg, California.

From March 16 to March 17, seminars, cooking competitions, tastings, dinners and more will take place at Hotel Healdsburg, with plenty of porky dishes and wine to go around. This year's chef guests include Susan Feniger, Scott Romano, Rick Moonen, Bryan Voltaggio and Trevor Bird.

Tickets are available starting Thursday, January 11 and can be found here. Proceeds from the weekend's events will benefit wine country and North Bay fire relief efforts, as well as No Kid Hungry. In a statement, Palmer says he aims to raise more funds than ever before.

"In response to those affected by October's fires, this year's fundraising efforts will have a specific focus on wine country's fire relief funds," he says. "Given the present need in our own backyard, we aim to raise more money than any previous year."

In case you missed it, Palmer himself was on a recent episode of the Food Republic Today podcast, talking about Pigs & Pinot, as well as Aureole's 30th anniversary and much more. Listen below:
