Brooklyn's Museum Of Food And Drink Celebrates Chinese-American Cuisine

Brooklyn's Museum of Food and Drink has brought us a new appreciation for food and drink through our four senses. This November, the museum will bring a new exhibition, "Chow: The Making of Chinese American Cuisine" to its Williamsburg gallery, but the organization needs your help. The creators of the Museum of Food and Drink have launched a Kickstarter campaign to help make "Chow" a reality.

"Chow (炒)," which translates to "stir fry," will take exhibit-goers through the racially and politically charged history of Chinese-American cuisine with the help of vintage menus and a hands-on tasting station comparing the dishes of yesterday to what is on menus today. A fortune-cookie machine will also be on display.

The Kickstarter campaign ends Wednesday and needs just over $27,000 to achieve the goal of $80,000 at the time of publication. Check out the video below for more information.
