World's 50 Best Restaurants 2015 Announced

It's that time of year again: The World's 50 Best Restaurants. This isn't just another listicle from the content puppy mill du jour; it's a full-on statement from an authority in the restaurant world, Restaurant magazine, sponsored by San Pellegrino and Acqua Panna. Because you gotta have something to wash it all down with — and wouldn't want to spoil your palate. Below is the list, which was just announced in London.

El Celler de Can Roca in Girona, Spain, was named the world's best restaurant for the second time, reclaiming the crown from Noma in Copenhagen, which fell to third. New York City's Eleven Madison Park once again placed highest among restaurants in North America, coming in at number five.

The list's organizers also announced that next year's ceremony will take place in New York, marking the first time in history it will take place outside of the London.
